R. vs. R.G.  - Vancouver Provincial Court

Charge: Break and Entering / Uttering a Threat.
Issue: Whether Crown would be able to prove the identity of the persons who unlawfully entered the complainant's home.
Result: After hearing Mr. Mines' submissions, Crown Counsel withdrew the criminal charges upon Mr. Mines' client enering into a "peace bond" to have no contact with the complainant.

Profile of Michael Mines
Michael Mines was born in Vancouver and was educated at the University of British Columbia. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1983 and a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1992.
Since becoming a member of the Law Society of British Columbia in 1993, Mr. Mines has exclusively practiced criminal law, including part-time Crown Prosecution work.
