Theft, Fraud and Other Property Offences.

Offences involving theft and fraud often involve people never before charged with an offence. In the less serious cases of this type, Michael Mines has been successful in persuading Crown Counsel to withdraw criminal charges upon his clients admitting responsibility and entering into an "Alternative Measures" program.

In the more serious cases of this type, including breach of trust situations (employee thefts), Mr. Mines has been successful in obtaining non custodial sentences, including conditional discharges, from the courts.
