Assault and Threatening Offences

For the most part, people charged with assault and threatening offences find themselves in disputes with other people that rapidly escalate and get out of control. In some case, Mr. Mines has been able to persuade Crown Counsel to not proceed and criminal charges have been withdrawn. In other cases, Mr. Mines has been able to obtain acquittals at trial because the evidence has suggested that his client was acting in self-defence, or that the fight was consensual.
