Michael Mines

Michael Mines was born in Vancouver and was educated at the University of British Columbia. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1983 and a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1992.
Since becoming a member of the Law Society of British Columbia in 1993, Mr. Mines has exclusively practiced criminal law, including part-time Crown Prosecution work. Over the years Mr. Mines has defended clients charged with all manner of criminal charges, from shoplifting to murder. While past results are not necessarily indicative of future outcomes, Mr. Mines prides himself in obtaining successful results in 11 of the 13 jury trials he has conducted.
With offices in Vancouver's Marine Building, and working closely with three criminal law associates, Michael Mines represents clients throughout the Lower Mainland and the rest of British Columbia. From providing clients with early legal advice through conducting trials and appeals, Michael Mines is dedicated to helping his clients achieve the very best possible results.
